Scholarships are available at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy to those who qualify. Through the generous gifts of alumni, friends, and professional associations, the School of Pharmacy awarded scholarships to 100% of eligible pharmacy students last year.

Most students finance their education with a combination of grants, institutional scholarships, and loans. Students seeking financial aid at UMB must complete the FAFSA annually, which can be completed on the Federal Student Aid website. Our Office of Financial Aid recommends to submit by the FAFSA priority deadline of Feb. 15 to be considered for additional University grants.

APPLY BY NOV. 1 FOR PRIORITY CONSIDERATION!

Additional sources of funds are available through outside scholarships (those from organizations other than the University of Maryland), employer tuition assistance, and family support.

Our Student Financial Assistance and Education staff can provide you with guidance on the financial aid process, as well as how to borrow wisely, budget wisely, and spend wisely.

Becoming a pharmacist is rewarding personally, professionally, and financially. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, pharmacists earn an average of $136,030 per year. Pharmacists : Occupational Outlook Handbook: : U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics
